Our journey is one of hope to provide support, funding and fellowship for brain injury victims and their families in Missouri.   All proceeds from Journey for Hope will stay in Missouri to fund: Support groups, education and advocacy outreach provided by the Brain Injury Association of Missouri. Wheelchair ramps and home modifications provided by the Centers for Independent Living.   Journey for Hope is a celebration of life, hope and healing. The Journey Begins Journey for Hope was founded by Brenda Kurz after her son Matthew suffered a traumatic brain injury on January 25, 2006. "I had absolutely no idea where to turn to get the support and resources I needed to help my son - and my family - adjust to this sudden change in our lives," says Kurz. Help comes in a variety of forms, but it can be a challenge to find.  We want to change that through Journey for Hope. The steps you take - or those you support with your dollars - will help thousands of Missourians affected by brain injuries achieve greater strides of their own. Participants may sign up individually or as a team. Top teams and participants will be recognized and entered into a drawing for prizes.
